About Me
Rich Rojo has more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit, university, and corporate communications. He has deep expertise in institutional positioning and brand management, strategic messages, communications plans, cause-related advocacy campaigns, executive communications, institutional changes, crisis management, and employee communications.
A longtime trusted advisor, Rojo has counseled many college and university presidents, executive directors of arts and nonprofit organizations, and board members. His career has taken him to marketing and communications posts at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, Calif., the UC Davis Mondavi Center, CSU Sacramento, University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., and the San Mateo County Community College District. He has worked in the private sector at a New York advertising agency and a major California organic farm. He focuses now on criminal justice reform and advocating for the formerly incarcerated.
Rojo holds a B.A. in architectural history and theory from Princeton University.
